The member of the Taekwondo club ”Zlatni Ljiljani” Ajla Reizbegović competed in the junior category at the European Taekwondo Championship for clubs and won the silver medal. This Championship began on the 9th of January.
The president of the Taekwondo Union of B&H Ahmed Dilek said today at the press conference that both B&H representatives, Reizbegović and Gredić achieved great success and what makes their success even greater is that taekwondo is an Olympic sport and that the competition is always tough.
The winner of the silver medal Ajla Reizbegović believes that B&H delegation has achieved a lot at this Championship.
” We have achieved what we wished for in Athens, but I think I could have won the gold medal if my previous injury did not stop me. I want to bring a gold Olympic medal to my country.”- said Reizbegović.
