Almost 25,000 Tourists visited Fede​ration of BiH in December

The overall number of tourist arrivals in December 2020 in the Federation of BiH was 24,833, which is 62.4 percent less than in December 2019, and compared to November 2020, it is more by 38.6 percent.

The share of domestic tourists in the total number of arrivals was 63.9 percent, and foreign tourists 36.1 percent.

The total number of overnight stays in December 2020 was 49,683, which is 58.9 percent less than in December 2019, and compared to November 2020, it was an increase of 34.8 percent.

The share of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 56.4 percent, with foreign tourists being 43.6 percent.

Most overnight stays were tourists from the United Arab Emirates (34.6 percent), Croatia (11.3 percent), Serbia (8.2 percent), Turkey (5.8 percent) and Montenegro (3, 4 percent) which is a total of 63.3 percent. Tourists from other countries accounted for 36.7 percent of overnight stays, stated the FBiH Statistics Institute.
