The amazing Bosnian swimmer Lana Pudar recorded the biggest success of her career after winning the gold medal in the 200 meters butterfly at the European Aquatic Championships held in Rome.
After performing in the 50 and 100 meter butterfly disciplines, after which she won the European bronze, Pudar also performed in the final discipline at this European Championship today, where she took a spectacular first place.
Pudar swam a time of 2:06.81, which is enough for an incredible first place and the biggest success of her career. Lana performed in lane number two and kept the first place from the start of the race until the very end.
The silver medal went to Denmark’s Helena Bach, who recorded a time of 2:07.30, while Italy’s Ilaria Cusinato won bronze (2:07.77).
As tradition dictates since competing, BH. the swimmer was again convincingly the youngest representative in the final, which once again shows what kind of talent she is. The second youngest contestant was 19-year-old Italian Antonella Crispino.
It was also the last discipline in swimming at this European Championship in water sports. This is how the young girl from Mostar concluded the fourth of five major competitions in a condensed schedule this summer.
She still has to compete at the World Junior Championship, which will be held in Peru from August 30 to September 4. There will also be a great BiH swimmer to seek a chance for new medals, Klix.ba reports.
