Ambassador Li Fan Sends Best Wishes to BiH Women’s Basketball Team Ahead of China Tournament

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Li Fan received the women’s national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished them luck for their journey and performances in friendly matches against the Chinese national team on June 13 and 15.

The best female basketball players of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by team manager and one of the best European basketball players of all time, Razija Mujanović, are traveling to the cities of Linyi and Jinan in the Chinese province of Shandong at the invitation of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Ambassador Li emphasized that she was honored to be able to talk to the representatives of the national team, which, with its fighting spirit and spirit, is a role model for many young girls in Bosnia and Herzegovina, assessing that the Dragons are “true ambassadors of sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. Li also reminded that the Chinese women’s national basketball team has a rich tradition and inexhaustible spirit, as well as that they are regular participants in the Olympic Games and other international competitions where they show the world the Chinese style of basketball.

“I believe that this match between the Chinese and Bosnian women’s basketball players will not only be a top-notch sporting duel, but also a great demonstration of women’s endurance, speed and strength,” said Li.

Thanking the reception, Razija Mujanović spoke about future plans for cooperation with the Chinese Basketball Association.

“I hope that we will be able to return the hospitality and host the Chinese national team in Sarajevo in the coming period,” said Mujanović.

During the reception, national team member Tea Perić, on behalf of the entire team, presented Ambassador Li with a basketball jersey signed by all the Dragons.
