The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy has announced a public call for the distribution of funds to non-profit organizations that provide care and support services to children, people with disabilities and the elderly through various social services in the community. A total of two million convertible marks have been secured for this purpose.
Financial support is directed at organizations that offer services such as small family homes, day and half-day stays, home help, and supported community housing and shelters. The aim of the call is to support the development and sustainability of social services that enable vulnerable groups to live a dignified life in the community and avoid their placement in permanent care institutions.
“With this public call, we continue to support the development of social services that enable vulnerable groups to live a dignified life in the community, instead of in permanent care institutions. In doing so, we are taking another important step towards organizing a system that will serve users and be fairer to service providers. The Law on Social Services will soon enter the second round of parliamentary procedure, which will provide the Federation with a legal framework that precisely regulates this area for the first time,” said the Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy Adnan Delić.
The full text of the public call and application forms are available on the official website of the Ministry.
The deadline for submitting applications is 20 days from the date of the last publication of the call in daily newspapers, which will be updated on the Ministry’s website in a timely manner, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy announced.
