On the occasion of Veterans Day, and in the presence of the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, Jana Chernochová, at a ceremony in Prague today on Namesti Miru, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Martina Mlinarević was awarded the Order of the Cross, 3rd degree, and she received the order from veterans of the Czech Armada.
This decoration comes as a continuation of the dedicated work of Ambassador Mlinarević and the quality cooperation of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Association of Military Veterans of the Czech Republic, emphasized Lieutenant Colonel and Vice President of the Association of Veterans of the Czech Republic Ladislav Sornaš in his explanation and during the presentation of the order.
“I am so happy and proud, the decoration from veterans means a lot to me. These people carry Bosnia and Herzegovina in their hearts in a special way, they served in our homeland in the 1990s, and they have never forgotten it and come regularly because they built lasting friendships there,” said Mlinarević.
She said that BiH “will never forget their contribution.”
“We are happy to collaborate together through many events and projects,” added the Ambassador of BiH to the Czech Republic.
To recall, this is the second decoration for Mlinarević since her mandate as Ambassador to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in 2021, she was awarded the highest order of merit by Italian President Mattarella and received the title “Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana.”, Klix.ba writes.
