Ambassador Nedim Makarevic: Norway allocates 7.5 Million Krone to Bosnia and Herzegovina

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of Norway Nedim Makarevic confirmed to Fena news agency that 7.5 million Norwegian Krone (1,270,267 BAM) is ready to be donated to Bosnia and Herzegovina to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The funds will be transferred and implemented through UNDP in BiH as it is most effective and prioritized, related to the development of the situation in BiH and specific needs, based on the demand of institutions.

Form of the assistance of 7.5 million Norwegian Krone will be subsequently announced through organizations implementing it.”I would like to take this opportunity to thank once again the friendly Norway, which, for many times, is ready to help us, although the country itself is fighting against the coronavirus,” H.E. Makarevic points out.
