This is the 123rd linden tree in the Alley of Ambassadors, trees planted by accredited ambassadors in B&H, as well as senior officials of international organizations.

Ambassadors and the mayor of municipality Stari Grad Sarajevo Ibrahim Hadžibajrić attended the ceremony.

Ambassador Casey said that he is happy to have had the chance to plant a linden tree in the Alley of Ambassadors.

‘’It is a great privilege and honor to be in such great company and to have a place that has my name and which will stay here. I walk through this Alley almost every day and it gives me great pleasure to say that today I have planted my ‘own’ linden tree’’, said Ambassador Casey.

After planning the tree, Mayor Hadžibajrić presented a certificate to Ambassador Casey as confirmation of planting the tree, as well as an invitation to come to B&H again and Sarajevo’’, announced municipality Stari Grad.
