Ambassadors Moon, Burton and UNHCR Representative Mayne Will Visit Roma Communities in Čaplijna and Mostar

moon (1)U.S. Ambassador to BiH Patrick S. Moon, Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Ambassador Fletcher Burton and UNHCR Representative in BiH Andrew Mayne will visit Čapljina and Mostar on Monday, August 12, 2013.

The delegation will meet with Mayor of Čapljina, Smiljan Vidic, representatives and members of Roma communities in Čapljina and Mostar, and a recently completed housing project for Roma families.  The visit is intended to focus attention on both the rights and challenges of minorities and vulnerable populations throughout BiH, particularly the Roma population, announced the US Embassy to BIH.

At the end of their trip, Ambassador Moon, Ambassador Burton, and Mr. Mayne will deliver short statements to the press and be available for questions.
