The best athlete in Bosnia and Herzegovina and still the 13th best in history in the 800 meters, Amel Tuka, yesterday night won the eighth place at the rally Herculis in Monte Carlo (Monaco), as part of the Diamond League.

His time was 1: 44.85. This was one of his main checks before the Tokyo Olympics.

Here in Monte Carlo, he ran with Amos, European indoor champion Dobek, Americans Hoppel and Murphy, Kenyans Korir and Rotic.

Tuka ran an excellent 1: 44.94 in Stockholm last Sunday. The Herculis rally has a special meaning for him because on July 17, 2015, Tuka ran his personal record (1: 42.51), which was the best world result that year and made him the 11th fastest 800-meter runner.
