Amel Tuka won Silver in Finals of the Doha World Championship

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s best athlete Amel Tuka competed in the 800-meter on Tuesday evening in the finals of the Doha World Championship.

In the finals, he managed to reach the silver medal, the greatest achievement in the history of BiH athletics. Tuka ran out in 1:43:37. This was the best score of the season for the BiH athlete.

Tuka said today that he will run for all those who cheer him up and give him support, but also for those who are no longer with us. After winning the medal, he posted the following on Facebook. “People, let me just give you a quick word. People, I won silver. I’m overjoyed. Thank God for everything. I can’t describe my feelings in words. Thank you and I love you.”

After winning the medal,  Tuka received congratulations all over the world, News Agency Patria reports.
