At an extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo, deputies adopted decision on temporary financing of FBiH for first three months next year in the amount of 421.823.778 BAM.
”This decision, which was determined by the Government of the Federation of BiH, enables payments of war and civil allowances, salaries and commenced support,” said the Federation Minister of Finance Ante Krajina, adding that House of Peoples, which still has not been formed, needs to adopt this decision.
The decision is issued to prevent financial stagnation in FBiH under circumstances when the Federation budget for next year cannot be adopted until December 31 of the current year.
This decision, emphasized Minister Krajina, does not allow new programs, new employees or new budget users.
Temporary financing is done proportional to funds used in the same period in the previous fiscal year.
”Budget needs to be adopted until March 31 at the latest. If the budget is not adopted until then, there will be no expenditure after that except for debt until budget is adopted,” said Krajina.
