In the Wednesday afternoon, in the wider area of Bihać, an accident occurred in which the pilot of a glider was killed, it was confirmed for Klix.ba from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton.

As reported by the MUP, this accident occurred in the region of Zavalje, which is located not far from Bihać and the border with Croatia.

“The police received a report from a group of citizens at 5:45 p.m. A glider, i.e. an aircraft without an engine, crashed in the Zavalje region near Bihać. Unfortunately, we can confirm the information that one person was killed and that it is most likely the pilot.” announced the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, USK, Ale Šiljdedić.

For now, the police cannot talk about the identity of the pilot or the circumstances that led to this accident in the area of the Una-Sana Canton.
