An Economic Event 100 EXPO And “100 Largest In BiH” To Connect The Region

One month remains until the largest international economic event in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Sarajevo is preparing to become the regional center for business meetings on October 21st and 22nd at 100 EXPO – the International Trade Fair and Conference, organized within the project “100 Largest in BiH and the region.”

Interest in participation has exceeded even the expectations of the organizers themselves – Poslovne novine.

They emphasize that Sarajevo has finally received a large international-format trade fair, which, together with the 38th edition of the traditional “100 Largest in BiH,” will create an economic event unlike anything previously seen in BiH.

300 companies, 6 countries, thousands of business opportunities

In practice, this means that 300 companies from BiH, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Albania will be represented at the 100 EXPO fair. The “100 Largest in BiH and the region” project will showcase 1.500 companies, rewarding the best performers.

The list of exhibitors, participants, partners, and sponsors clearly shows that representatives of the largest companies from the Adriatic region will gather in one place.

This economic event is held with strong institutional support under the high patronage of the member of the BiH Presidency, Dr. Denis Becirovic, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH as co-organizer, the President of Federation of BiH (FBiH) Lidija Bradara, the Federal Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska (RS), as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, which is also the partner country of the fair.

The event will begin on October 21st with the ceremonial opening of the fair, followed by a conference that will start with the panel “Invest in B&H,” featuring the highest officials from BiH and the region.

Sustainable development

The program will continue with a focus on sustainable development through the panel “ESG: Leaders of Sustainable Development,” where representatives of the largest companies and experts will discuss ESG standards, the green transition, and socially responsible business practices.

The final part of the conference program is reserved for discussions on sustainable business, partnerships, and their impact on the economy and society in the form of a Fireside Chat organized by Coca-Cola HBC B-H Sarajevo.

Interesting business discussions will also take place on the margins of the conference in the B2B arena over the two days of the fair.

For this occasion, Poslovne novine has developed an innovative B2B application available on the portal http://www.100expo.ba, designed to enhance the business experience and maximize networking opportunities, with over 40.000 companies available in the application database. Networking through the B2B application is in real time and allows communication and scheduling of meetings in advance, as well as collaboration with participants via a chat option.

Traditional awards

During the event, the first evening will be dedicated to the traditional ceremonial awards “100 Largest in BiH” for those who achieved the best business results in the past year. The best companies will be recognized based on revenue, profit, export, and number of employees, across large, medium, and small enterprise categories.

Special awards “Vision 100” will be presented to companies, banks, institutions, and individuals who stand out with innovative projects and initiatives, providing a special contribution to society.

The evening will conclude with a concert and entertainment program – performers will remain a surprise until the event itself, with the organizers promising the audience a unique experience, in what they described as the “Sarajevo way.”

Rankings of leading companies by revenue, export, and profit, with sector analyses and interviews with prominent businesspeople and investors, illustrate the wealth of business opportunities BiH offers and will be published in a special printed edition, “100 Largest in BiH and the region,” which will be promoted at this economic event.

An e-version of the publication in English, in a shortened edition titled “Invest in B&H,” prepared by Poslovne novine in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, will be distributed to all relevant institutions in BiH and promoted through diplomatic channels worldwide to attract new investments.

“100 EXPO and ‘100 Largest in BiH’ will turn Sarajevo into the main business hub of the region, providing opportunities for new partnerships, investments, and cooperation with long-term benefits,” say the organizers from Poslovne novine.
