“An Interactive Scale Model of Sarajevo from the Ottoman Period“ for the better Tourist Offer

interactive scale model of sarajevoThe Public Institution Museum of Sarajevo, presented in the Brusa bezistan the project “ An Interactive Scale Model of Sarajevo from the Ottoman Period“, within the program of marking the International Museum Day.

The project was done in the cooperation with colleagues from the museum that are members of the International network of virtual museums and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo.

Today, from 6.00 p.m. to 12.00  a.m. museums will open their doors, and the figures important for the history of Sarajevo will be presented in each of them.

In the cooperation with the Association of artists “Bellarte“, the cultural-artistic program will be held in each of museums.

Besides that, in the museum “Sarajevo 1878-1918”, visitors will be able to take photos with the replica of clothes of F. Ferdinand and Sofia Kotek, while the replica of tha car of F. Ferdinand will be set in front of the museum.

The International Museum Day was established on 18th May 1977 by the ICOM (International Committee of Museums) within UNESCO, with the aim of familiarizing the wider public with the museum’s activities through activities that talk about the role of museums in the society and the free entrance on the occasion of that day.
