Analysis: Import and Export from Bosnia and Herzegovina

In 2022, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) exported electricity the most, worth one billion and 74 million BAM, and imported diesel fuel worth two billion and 370 million BAM, announced the BiH Statistics Agency in the publication ”BiH in numbers 2022.”

In the top five products that were imported to BiH last year, there are also “Medicines for individual sale”, which were imported with a value of 413 million BAM.

During 2022, goods worth 17 billion 974 million BAM were exported from BiH, which is 25.9% more than in 2021, while 28 billion 636 million BAM were imported, which is 32.6% more than in the previous year.

The coverage of imports by exports amounted to 62.8%, while the foreign trade goods deficit amounted to 10 billion 662 million BAM.
