Analysis: Increase recorded in Collection of Cow’s Milk

In 2018 the total amount of collected cow’s milk increased by 1,8% in relation to 2017. Production of drinking milk increased by 1,6%, acidified milk by 29,3% and butter and other yellow fat products by 12,5%, while the production of cream decreased by 2,7% and cow’s cheese by 8,3% in relation with the same period of 2017.

The total amount of milk fat in cow’s milk increased by 2,2%, and the total amount of milk protein increased by 2,5% in relation to the same period of 2017.

In March of 2019, the total amount of collected cow’s milk decreased by 1,1% in relation to the same period of 2018. Production of drinking milk increased by 18,2%, acidified milk by 25,8%, butter and other yellow fat products by 18,5% and cow’s cheese by 1,0%, while the production of cream decreased by 9,0% in relation with the same period of 2018.

The total amount of milk fat decreased by 1,2%, and the total amount of milk protein decreased by 0,3% in relation to the same period of 2018.

According to BiH’s Agency for Statistics, the total production of consumer fish in 2018 decreased by 3,02% in relation to 2017. Production of carp increased by 13,06%, and the production of trout decreased by 6,09% in relation with 2017.

Of the total production of consumer fish, 77,07% referred to the trout, 14,05% to the carp and 7,08% to the other fish.

The number of eggs placed in hatcheries in March of 2019 increased by 4,24% in relation to the same period of 2018.

The total number of hatched day-old chicks in hatcheries during March of 2019 increased by 0,42%in relation with the same period of 2018.
