The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an official confirmation that Anel Ahmedhodzic can play for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The FIFA Player Status Committee has accepted the request of Ahmedhodzic and FF BiH to change their sports citizenship so that this football player can now play for the BiH national team.
Anel Ahmedhodzic, born on 26 March 1999 is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Allsvenskan club Malmö FF.
Ahmedhodzic started his professional career at Nottingham Forest, before joining Malmö FF in 2019. Later that year, he was loaned to Hobro IK.
