The Alliance of Antifascists and Soldiers of the National Liberation War (NOB) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Alliance of Antifascists and Soldiers of the NOB of Canton Sarajevo and the Association of Antifascists and Soldiers of the NOB Hadzici at Ivan Sedlo commemorated the 76th anniversary of the Revolt of the People of BiH, July 27th, 1941, when the first resistance towards the occupation forces and domestic traitors was organized.
Memories from the NOB and the Defensive-Liberation War between 1992 and 1995 were recalled. The Minister for Veterans’ Affairs of Canton Sarajevo Muharem Fiso noted the importance of BiH as a multiethnic country and the importance of the pursuit of that, despite the constant attempts to divide the country and prevent its development.
Ibrahim Comic, the president of UABNOR of Canton Sarajevo, Izet Koro, an assistant to the mayor of the Municipality of Hadzici, Sead Dulic, the president of UABNOR of the Hercegovina-Neretva Canton, and Esad Muhibic, the president of PL Hadzici, addressed those present.
As a part of the ceremony, flowers were laid and those killed defending BiH in the NOB and the defensive war between 1992 and 1995 were honored.
