Applications for Tour de Culture BiH opened

tourFoundation Cultural Heritage without Borders – CHwB Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing a unique cycling event called Tour de Culture BiH on September 24 this year at the territory of Bosanska Krupa, Cazin and Bihać.

This event is aimed at promoting valuable cultural, historical and natural heritage of BiH, unmotorized transportation and environmental protection.

This year’s Tour de Culture of BiH is supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in BiH. CHwB organizes this event with the help from Recreational cycling club Japod from Bihać and the tourist agency Visit Konjic from Konjic. Municipality of Cazin and Cultural Center Ostrožac also supported the event.

Tour de Culture BiH is a cycling tour of non-competitive and recreational character, intended for all citizens of BiH. Participation in the competition is limited to 100 cyclists who will visit valuable cultural and historical heritage in the length of 43 kilometers during one day.

During the tour, the participants will have an opportunity to visit the Old Town Pset in Bosanska Krupa, Old Town Ostrožac in Cazin, Museum of the Una-Sana Canton and the Captain’s Tower in Bihać. They will also ride in the canyon of the beautiful Una River. One part of the tour also includes cultural and artistic program which aims at promoting traditional cuisine, music and folklore specific of this area and the entire BiH as well.
