The 13th International Exhibition of Innovations “ARCA 2015” was held in Zagreb from 15th to 18th of October 2015. Day of innovative ideas was held for the first time within the exhibition, on the 16th of October 2015.
At the stand of the Association of Inventors of B&H, out of total 9 innovations from B&H, 2 innovations from the area of Una-Sana Canton (USC) were presented, whose performance is organized by mediation of Chamber of Commerce of USC, as part of its regular activities and according to the Program of work CC USC for 2015, and the Association of Innovators of Bihac and their program of work for 2015.
These are:
- Innovation: “Control over computer through the eyes” by Enver Bakija and Hasan Grosic
- Innovation: “Biological filter for water purification” by Iman Karajic and Dzana Huremagic.
First innovation won the silver medal and the second one won the bronze medal.
Enver Bakija and Hasan Grosic are students at International Burch University in Sarajevo, and until last June they were students of Una-Sana College, while Iman Karajic and Dzana Huremagic are still students of Una Sana College in Bihac, in which, as one of very few high school in B&H, students program is focused on research and development activities.
University Professor Zehrudin Osmanovic from Tuzla, doctor of chemical sciences, won the gold medal for his innovation: “Converting of chemical waste in the cement.”
