About 55,000 people were present at the beginning of the central event of the rally “We will not give Serbia”, held on Saturday in Belgrade, the Archives of Public Assemblies announced.

They made an assessment based on the recordings at 7 p.m.

The group occupied the plateau in front of the House of the National Assembly, Nikola Pašić Square and Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard up to the intersection with Desanke Maksimović Street, they announced on X.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, referring to the police assessment, said that around 145,000 people attended the “We will not give Serbia” rally.

On the other hand, the president of the opposition Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), Dragan Đilas, gave the lowest estimate and claimed that there were “barely twenty thousand people” at the rally.
