Armed forces of B&H took over PSOTC

The Minister of Defense of B&H Zekerijah Osmić and the Minister of International Security Strategy of Great Britain Andrew Murrison have signed the agreement about the purchase of the Peace Support Operations Training Center. Due to this, Armed forces of B&H received a valuable recourse of highly qualified level of training.

On the proposal of Great Britain in 2003, Bosnia and Herzegovina has accepted PSOTC to be built in Sarajevo. Minister Osmić said that B&H will carry on with its previous mission. This mission relates primarily on the improvement of the regional collaboration and the improvement of the membership to NATO.

The British Minister Murrison also said that the future of PSOTC lies in the hands of Bosnian authorities. He also said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has great opportunity to strengthen the reputation of Armed forces in B&H and to show the world what this country can accomplish.
