Arnaut: No Investigation is being conducted on HR Schmidt

The diplomatic identification of Christian Schmidt, the High Representative, is still the main issue for the political representatives of the Republika Srpska. Milorad Dodik, the president of the RS, called for the criminal responsibility of the persons from the OHR and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina who participated in the issuance of the accreditation to Schmidt.

State Security Minister Nenad Nešić requests that SIPA, the Service for Foreigners and the Border Police report everything. PDP President Branislav Borenović directly: it’s your own fault. Dodik’s claims that an investigation is being conducted in Germany regarding Schmidt’s stay were denied by Damir Arnaut, ambassador of BiH to Germany.

“It is for criminal responsibility, the one who signed the request to the OHR and sent it to the MFA, and the MFA did not check it. I know that there is an investigation into this even in Germany. That all says that it is suspicious, to say the least.” said Dodik.

“In Germany, there is no investigation into Schmidt’s passport. At each of the meetings, Germany’s support for the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina was emphasized,” said Arnaut.
