The City Administration of the City of Sarajevo sold the black Passat limousine for almost 39 thousand BAM, and today, the new owner drove away the luxury car, Klix.ba has learned.

This was the first move made by Benjamina Karic as the mayor of Sarajevo when she gave an order in April this year to sell a limousine that was bought during the term of her predecessor Abdulah Skaka.

“I will use other vehicles that are available and as we all see on the streets of Sarajevo,” said Karic, who was praised for the move.

A three-year-old Volkswagen Passat car was sold for 38,600 BAM.
The City Administration previously told the public that Mayor Benjamina Karic was driving a Passat that was bought during the term of Alija Behmen (2009-2013).
Three more official cars that were owned by the city for over 15 years were sold earlier through a public call.
