At least 11 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in an Israeli attack on the tents of displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah.

Medical sources told Anadolu that at least 11 Palestinians were killed and at least 40 others were wounded in the Israeli shelling of displaced persons’ tents in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah city center.

Israeli attacks since October 7 have killed at least 37,765 Palestinians, including at least 15,694 children and 10,279 women, and injured 86,429 people in the Gaza Strip.

In more than eight months of Israeli attacks, large parts of the Gaza Strip lie in ruins amid severe blockades of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel has been accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians have sought refuge from the war, AA writes.
