Athletic: Alić and Mešić at the World Championship in Moscow

hamza-alic-zastavaB&H will be represented by Hamza Alić and Kemal Mešić at the 14th World Championship in Athletics, which will be held from 10th to 18th August in Moscow.

Hamza Alić in June won the bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin, Turkey and his perfect shape he achieved with the personal record of 20.73 m at the International meeting in Zenica. With this result, 34-year-old member of the Athletic Club Zenica achieved the A-standard to perform in Moscow.

Kemal Mešić, member of the AK Sarajevo, this season, won the bronze medal at the Balkan Championship in Istanbul. Also, he will perform for the World Cup since he achieved the A-standard. His best result during this season is 20.37 m


Qualifications for throwing balls at the World Championship in Moscow are on 15th August, and the next day will be held the finals.
