zvono_nagradaAfter a two-year pause (2012 and 2013), the Center for Contemporary Art Sarjaevo (SCCA) announced the Zvono award for 2014.

SCCA, in cooperation with the Foundation for Civil Society and Thrust for Mutual Understanding from New York, founded the annual prize for young artists less than 35 years of age called Zvono. The award is handed out for quality and innovation, for artistic works created during the last two years.

Works from the area of painting, sculpture, prints, drawings, photographs, videos, new media and performances are taken into consideration.

The annual award for young artists of B&H is named by the group ‘Zvono’, meaning overcoming discontinuity in art in B&H and the wish of organizers to encourage innovative artistic practice today.

The competition for the annual award Zvono will be announced at the end of March 2014, announced SCCA.
