Organized by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), government of BIH and many local partners and sponsors, World Environment Day will be marked in Sarajevo from 3-5 June through a series of activities as the host of the celebrations for the region of Europe.

One of those activities is the last night’s exhibition, in organisation of the Centre for Engaged Art and Studio TNT, as partners of UNEP.

Beginners of the Little School of Photography participated at the photo competition ‘Think.Eat.Save’, which was organised by Studio TNT and photo-section of the Cantonal Public Institution ‘Home for Children without Parents’.

Over 100 photos applied for competition, after which a selection 60 photos was made and they were exhibited.

At last night award ceremony, five photos were awarded, and children from the ‘Home for Children without Parents’ received a camera, which will help their photography activities, for their effort and collective work.

The author of the most inventive work Ena Ibrović, student of Little School of Photography, said that organising similar competitions can contribute to raising awareness about the importance of environment protection.

With this exhibition, organisers wanted to educate young photographers and public about the general problem of irrational food waste and about the problem of the lack of environment awareness and its protection.
