Bajrovic: Artists Feel Like Hosts at BiH Theatre Festival in Jajce

The Theatre Festival of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Jajce from June 29 to July 4, and the honor of guarding the keys to the city on behalf of the artists this year went to actor Izudin Bajrović.

Speaking about the importance and role of the Theatre Festival of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bajrović said that it is the oldest BiH festival that deals exclusively with theatres, theaters, and theaters from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Therefore, its importance is truly enormous. It has a great tradition. In our minds, in our hearts, it is the Festival that is perhaps the most important in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am proud that it is my turn to represent theatre artists in some way. And to accept the key that is symbolically awarded to us by the Mayor of Jajce on their behalf. Actors and artists in general do not often have the opportunity to receive some recognition, even symbolic ones,” said Bajrović.

While, as he pointed out, in Jajce they make the artists, even though they are guests, feel like locals or even like hosts.
