At the Balkan Expo 2026, B2B meetings are planned for today, where more than 400 representatives of companies from the food industry from the countries of the Western Balkans and the wider region have announced their participation. These are the leaders of the food industry whose annual sales are measured in billions of euros.
The fair opened on Thursday and is one of the most significant regional fair manifestations that gather businessmen, investors, institutions and representatives of various sectors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and the world in one place.
The fair is held until Saturday, June 6, in the Congress Center of Hotel Hills, and the entrance is free. Visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of economy, technology, tourism, energy and other industries, as well as to make new business contacts and partnerships, while tasting a wide variety of products.
Among the companies that took part in Balkan Expo 2026 are renowned regional and international producers and exporters such as Big Brands Turkey. It is a company specialized in the import and export of more than 20,000 FMCG products on the domestic and international market, and which is known for the distribution and representation of globally recognized brands. Chocolate manufacturers and leading food exporters are also participants.
Companies from the processing, food packaging and agriculture sectors are also present.
A particularly interesting fact is that, in addition to the exhibitors, representatives of companies from Turkey, Romania, Greece, North Macedonia, China, Albania, Croatia and Serbia also came to the fair, who will not be exhibitors, but want to make direct contacts with local companies, the Balkan Expo team announced.
