“I am grateful to Stanivukovic for bringing me to Banja Luka and for giving me the opportunity to see for myself the development of this important city in BiH. I promised to come again. I am not here for myself, but for the people “, said Schmidt briefly, emphasizing his gratitude to the mayor of Banja Luka.
Stanivukovic explains his meeting with Schmidt, whom most entities in RS do not consider a legitimate representative, stating that no exclusivity is good.
“We are defending the interests of RS and we respect the conclusions of the National Assembly of RS, but we must go further,” said the mayor of Banja Luka.
Contrary to the claims of many, Stanivukovic emphasizes that he did not violate the conclusions of the NARS, and points out that he met in the same capacity as the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Porphyry.
“If this duty was held by people who are considered to be those who lead our people in a spiritual and secular way, I think that I should show breadth in this way as well,” said Stanivukovic.
“We talked about projects, the meeting was simple. The topics were youth, staying here, jobs, and how much Germany and other countries can be at the service of our cities, that is a priority for me. I want the topics related to the economy to dominate in the public space “, says the mayor of Banja Luka.
