Bašić Successful in Doubles Also at Tournament in France

mirza-basicB&H tennis player Mirza Bašić successfully began his appearance in the doubles at the ATP Challenger tournament in Quimper, France. The prize money is 42.500 Euros.

The 22 year old from Sarajevo is playing in pairs with Henri Laaksonen from Switzerland. In the first round, they beat Marin Draganj and Mate Pavić from Croatia with 6:4, 6:2. In the quarterfinals doubles Bašić and Laakson will play Toni Androić and Nikola Mektić from Croatia.

Before winning the doubles, Bašić was successful at the start of the tournament in the individual part of the competition as well. In the first round of the singles on Monday, he beat Andrej Martin with 7:6, 4:6, 7:5. In the battle for the quarterfinals today, he will play against Alban Olivetti from France.
