Basketball Memorial ‘Davorin Popović’ Begins Today

davorinpopovicThe female basketball club Željezničar is organizing again this year a memorial tournament called ‘Davorin Popović’ Dačo’ in memory of the legendary Sarajevo singer and athlete.

The tournament begins today. The following teams will participate: Radivoje Korać (Serbia), Šibenik (Croatia), Roling (Montenegro) and the host Željezničar (B&H).

The semi-final matches are scheduled to take place today. The first match of Radivoj Korać – Roling is at 16:30 and Željezničar – Šibenik will play at 18:30.

The winners will play in the final match tomorrow at 18:30, while the game for third place will be played two hours earlier.
