Becirovic and Ginkel on the Improvement of Economic Cooperation between BiH and the USA

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in BiH, John Ginkel, about the current political and security situation and the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation between BiH and the USA.

Bećirović emphasized that for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the dynamization of the NATO path is extremely important.

He assessed that there is significant room for additional improvement of economic cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the USA.

He particularly pointed out the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of energy and creating more favorable conditions for attracting new American investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, the election of a new high representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina was also discussed.

Ginkel reiterated the USA’s firm and unequivocal support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH, the Cabinet of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
