Becirovic on an official visit to the Kingdom of Belgium

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, will be on an official visit to the Kingdom of Belgium from today until Wednesday, March 27.

This is Bećirović’s first visit abroad as the chairman of the BiH Presidency.

During the audience in the royal palace in Brussels, Bećirović will talk with King Philip. Separate meetings with Belgian Prime Minister Aleksandar De Croo and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hadža Labib are also planned, the Cabinet of Chairman Bećirović announced.

The Kingdom of Belgium chairs the Council of the European Union from March 1 to June 30 this year.

The program, which sets out the priorities and main directions of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union in relation to enlargement, states, among other things, that it will continue to work on enlargement, as well as that it will monitor ongoing processes with all relevant countries, in accordance with the existing methodology , with an approach based on the merits and progress of each candidate in meeting the criteria for accession to the European Union, according to the announcement.
