The Bosnian swimmer Lana Pudar won the silver medal in the 100-meter dolphin at the European Junior Championships held in Otopeni, Romania.
After two golds at the Mediterranean Games in Oran, Pudar traveled to Romania without any rest and continued with great results.
With dominant performances, Lana won the semifinals and finals, and then in the race for a medal in the 100-meter dolphin, she took second place.
Pudar finished second with a time of 57.88, just three hundredths of a second behind gold winner Roos Vanotterdijk of Belgium. The Swiss Julia Ullmann finished in third place with a time of 59.39.
BH representative was the second youngest participant in the final, right after the Italian Anna Porcari, who is six months younger. Only Pudar and Porcari were born in 2006.
The success of Pudar is even greater since this is the third consecutive competition without rest. Our talented representative performed at the World Senior Championship, and then at the Mediterranean Games just before the European Junior Championship.
The European Junior Championship is the third in a series of competitions for Lana Pudar during this summer, which is more than tiring, but our swimmer shows that she is tireless. The World Junior Championship will follow, and then the European Senior Championship, Klix.ba writes.
