U17The B&H cadet football representation will gather today in Ilidža to prepare for the participation at the elite round of qualifications for the European Championship in Malta.

The tournament will be held from 24 to 29 March in Glasgow, and beside B&H and the Scotland selections the teams of Belgium and Romania will take part. The winner of the group will play at the European Championship.

The coach Sakib Malkočević is looking forward to a good performance of the B&H representation, which has 15 wins and one defeat.

“We have the right to hope for success, although the opponents are not easy. Romania has ended the first round of qualification with good results. The Scottish team is the host and their playing style does not suit us and Belgium is rising in all disciplines. We have also played well and I believe that we can compete. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce ourselves in a good light”, said Malkočević for Agency Fena.

The B&H cadet representation will be training at the stadium in Hrasnica until the departure to Scotland.
