eurostilThis is how the idea of building the first factory of the carbon eco pellet in Europe is presented by Kenan Ahmetlic, manager of the Euro Stil Company from Doboj.

“My father Izudin, who is also one of the owners of the HIFA Group, got an idea for the production of eco pellet and by the end of 2013 we established the Euro Stil and started with the realization of his idea. I was so amazed with it, so, since I was senior year at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, I took the theme “New products development“ as my graduate thesis. Not only I got a top mark, but also, my father’s idea soon became a reality. But, the truth is that just as we started to produce, we were stroked by floods, and a lot of products have been destroyed, but from the next year, we are starting with the 24- hour production in three shifts“, says the 23- year- old Kenan Ahmetlic.

“The specificity of our product is that it has only 0.08 % of Sulfur, and by the standards of European Union it shall not exceed 1%. Our carbon eco pellet is cheaper than the wood pellet by 30% and more caloric by 15%, and when burned, its ash is ideal compost for the plants, so it is great for the companies involved in agriculture, as well as for the households. And finally, this product is cheaper from the wood pellet by 40% and probably the cheapest energy source“ says Ahmetlic.

Before they started with production, says, they passed through long examinations, learning, training, and sending samples for analysis to the laboratories on Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union.

The product first received a certificate with values that confirm its quality and ensures its path towards the European marketplace.
