The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, attended the opening of the Munich Security Conference.

After the opening of the conference chaired by Ambassador Christoph Heusgen, Krišto participated in the sessions “Ukraine’s Struggle for Freedom”, “Germany in the World”, led by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and “France in the World”, which was led by the President of France Emmanuel Macron.

The first day of this year’s security conference was attended by more than 45 heads of state and government, ministers of defense and foreign affairs, as well as leaders of many international organizations and civil society organizations, while the central topic of discussion was Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as a turning point in global politics and the biggest European security challenge, as well as other issues, announced the BiH Council of Ministers.
