B&H Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Ermina Salkičević-Dizdarević held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, where they considered results of the operation of a joint committee for economic cooperation between the two countries.
The topic of conversation was the economic and political situation in B&H and the Prime Minister Orban gave his full support on B&H’s path towards the EU.
Also, the readiness of Hungary to intensify collaboration with the Western Balkan countries was emphasized, and they exchanged information on concrete projects of the two countries, such as the introduction of a direct airline Sarajevo – Budapest.
Prime Minister Orban pointed out that the realization of this project is expected in the first quarter of 2015.
They also discussed the possibility of railway traffic renewal for the line Budapest -Sarajevo, because there is huge interest for this project, announced the B&H Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.
