B&H brand Wish Sofa is the concept behind which stands architectural designer duo Mersiha Karic and Ana Lukenda, who are making a modern upholstered furniture that you will have for a longer period of time. Description of their job includes designing of objects, mostly individual housing units.

Their last project of this kind was decorating and designing of 3H house in Visoko. Three families were supposed to be placed on a very narrow parcel, so that each of them has its own housing unit. The facility was strictly defined by the regulatory plan and positioned along the road, while a large orchard of about 150 trees of indigenous varieties of apples was placed on the south side of the parcel. Aware of the difficulty of task in front of them, they started with challenging realization of their clients’ desires.

By its architectural design, the house is absolutely discreet to the environment and absolutely ‘protected’ from the noise and the insight from outside the street, and the fence around the whole parcel together with the empty street façade without a single opening is contributing to it as well. With the simple, cubic masses and finishing touches, functionally different parts of the house were separate, i.e. ground floor as public and the upper floor as private part.

Three apartments in a row are placed in the two-sided backyard – entrance gates and resting yard, where living rooms and dining rooms are oriented. Central wall on the ground floor contains a fireplace that was one of the primary requests of the client.

On the first floor of each unit are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the master bedroom with bathroom and a big terrace, covered by moving pergola are placed on the top floor.

Interior design of the 3H object is done in a modern style, with plenty of white surfaces, neutral colors and Wish Sofa furniture. Although each of the units is focused on either one of two sides, the house has plenty of light due to the functional disposition, where every bathroom has a large glass surface.

Some of the well recommended interior design apps adapted this technique over time.

There is an additional facility in the courtyard that is intended for all three families, and it contains a spacious kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom.

Monolithic design of the compact 3H home calls on traditional architecture with its oriel windows and repetitive openings, with the introduction of modern interpretations through the minimalist palette of colors and clean geometry.
