BH Female Basketball Players ended the European Championship with no Defeat

Young BH Female Basketball Players fokus.baWomen national basketball team of B&H up to 20 years of age ended the European Championship of the B division in Podgorica with a maximum achievement of nine victories.

The team selected by the selector Mara Lakić-Brčaninović confirmed the domination at the European Championship winning against the selection of Austria with a result of 81:51, for the 9th victory in a row.

B&H won a gold medal in Podgorica and qualified for the elite European A division, on the way defeating the teams of Greece, Montenegro, Sweden, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Israel, Romania, Great Britain and Austria.

On this championship, the national team of B&H was led by Marica Gajić, a member of the WNBA team Washington Mystics, who ended the competition as the second best scorer and the best rebounder.
