The National football team of BiH celebrated against the team of Northern Ireland in Belfast with the score 2: 1 in the first round of Group B3 of the League of Nations.
BH team had the first real chance in the 30th minute of the match when Visca passed the ball to Dzeko, but his shot was defended by the goalkeeper of Northern Ireland.
BH representative Haris Duljevic scored in the 36th minute of the match again with the help of Edin Dzeko.
Hosts had two great opportunities at the very beginning of the second half of the match, and the second one was defended thanks to great concentration and skills of the goalkeeper of BH team, Ibrahim Sehic.
Furthermore, the hosts were much more dominant on the field during all 90 minutes of the match, but their only goals was scored by Grigg in the 93rd minute (during the additional period).
How much the team of Northern Ireland pressured BH goal stands can be seen in the fact that they had 18 corners, while the team of BiH had only one during the additional extension period of the second half of the match.
This was the first match in the new UEFA competition, the League of Nations, and BH team is playing in the first round of Group 3 of the League B and this is also the first official match for our new selector, Robert Prosinecki.
The National team of BiH will play next match on Tuesday, September 11, when they will welcome the team of Austria in Zenica.
