B&H Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in Brussels Yesterday

Bosna-i-Hercegovina-EUThe Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of B&H Boris Tučić met yesterday in the afternoon in Brussels with representatives of the European Service for External Relations. They spoke of the general prospects of B&H towards the EU, redefinition of the relationships of the EU towards B&H, implementing social and economic reform, meeting conditions related to the use of IPA funds, but he also stated that B&H has to continue to work on the implementation of the Sejdić Finci ruling, as well as establishing mechanisms in EU integration.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Tučić met with representatives of the Directorate General for Enlargement, as well as with representatives of the Directorate General for Agriculture and with other representatives of the European Commission. They discussed the placement of milk and dairy products of B&H to the EU market, evaluation of export of potatoes to the EU, obligations of B&H in the field of energy, outstanding issues related to the lack of maintenance of temporary subcommittees between B&H and the EU and other important issues on the acquisition of EU candidate status.
