B&H Women Tennis Representation Defeated by Georgia

anitaB&H women tennis representation had the first defeat at the tournament of II group Euro -African zone of Fed Cup in the Lithuanian city Siauliai.

After two wins in the first two rounds over the selections of South Africa and Egypt, B&H women tennis players are defeated yesterday in the third round by Georgia with the result 3:0.

Anita Husarić is defeated from Ekatarine Gorgodze in the first match with the result 5:7, 2:6 and later Jasmina Tinjić is defeated from Sofija Šapatova with 4:6, 2:6.

In the double matches Husarić and Tinjić handed the game to Šapatova and Oksana Kalašnikov with the lead 2:1.

B&H women tennis representation took the second place in B group and in play off for qualification in the first group of Euro-African zone will play with the winner of the A group, Finland or Liechtenstein on Saturday.
