BHT Youth Sport Games held in Tuzla and Gradačac

Tuzla_panorama_1Tuzla Canton previous three days has hosted third BH Telecom Youth Sports Games.

About 3.000 children from Banović, Gračanica, Živinica, Kalesije, Lukavac Teočak, Sapna, Srebrenik, Tuzla and Gradačac participated in the Games in Tuzla on15th and 16th July and on 17th July in Gradačac .

Third BH Telecom Youth Sports Games was supported by the Mayors of Tuzla and Gradačac Jasmin Imamović and Edis Dervišagić, expressing their satisfaction that even this year Tuzla Canton hosted the games and brought together children from all over BiH, said the organizer of the Games.

‘’Tuzla is for the third year host of the Games and we will continue to support this event even in the future. It is really a great thing to bring together more than 30.000 young people in our country. Sport is the best way to connect young people and the Games have proven it in the past three years of maintenance’’, said the Mayor Imamović.

On Monday in Tuzla started handball competition in the sports hall “Mejdan” and fun continued on additional grounds of stadium “Tušanj”. Volleyball players in the first day played volleyball on the sand, while the basketball players competed on the ground of Telex. There were held competitions in tennis, chess, badminton and volleyball.

On Wednesday Games continued in Gradačac. In the sports hall “Skenderija” , on Sports polygon “Luke”, on the ground “Hazna” competitions were held in; indoor soccer, volleyball0, street basketball and the game ‘between two fires. ”

‘’ Gradačac is for the second time hosting the Games and we are proud of it. I hope that the boys and girls have a good time, and the winners will show our city in the best light when we are represented at the finals’’, said the Mayor of Gradačac Edis Dervišagić.

Travnik is the next host of the Games, on 21st and 22nd July.

After Travnik, the next host of the Games will be Bugojno, which this year for the first time host the Games.
