Titova Vila trebinjelive.infoVilla “Lastva” near Trebinje, better known as Tito’s villa, will be renovated soon, and the Hospitality-Tourism Joint Stock Company “Leotar” will invest around one million BAM in its adaptation, confirmed Milan Pešut, the owner of “Leotar”.

He told reporters that the adaptation works on this dilapidated house will be finished by the beginning of this year’s tourist season.

According to him, complete interior and exterior renovation of the facility is planned. After the renovation, the villa will be in disposal of ten rooms, a modern restaurant, and winery.

“The restored house will practically be a novelty in the tourist offer of Trebinje, and we hope to attract a large number of tourists this summer already”, said Pešut.

The villa was built in 1954 from Korčula and Herzegovina stone, as a residential property of the President of Yugoslavia at that time, on a plot area of two hectares.

Within this property there is a pond and a park. A vineyard was also planted last year.

The villa is recognizable from the TV series “Ranjeni orao” (“Wounded Eagle”).
