The Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH, Edin Forto, and the Ambassador of Italy to BiH, Marko Di Ruzza, signed today in Sarajevo the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Italy on mutual recognition in the field of replacement of driver’s licenses.

After the signing, Forto stated that he was very grateful to Ambassador Di Ruzza and his Government for complying with BiH’s request, which had been in the process for 16 years.

He expressed the hope that other European countries will follow Italy’s example and improve cooperation in the same way.

Di Ruzza stated that the agreement they signed is of great practical benefit to the citizens of both countries, who will now be able to easily exchange driver’s licenses.

He added that it is not just a technical instrument, but that it should be seen as a new bridge that further connects the two countries and their peoples, Fena reports.
