BiH artist Lala Raščić is having an exhibition in Leipzig

On Friday, 8 March, in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig, this year’s winner of art award ”Kunstpreis Europas Zukunft”, BiH visual artist Lala Raščić will open her exhibition called ”Whatever the  Object”, which her first exhibition in Germany.

In cooperation with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig, IT company alpha 200 GmbH gives award ”Kunstpreis Europas Zukunft” with the intention to award young artists and to promote cooperation of joint development of Europe. The award consists of money and the winning artist also gets the opportunity to organise an exhibition.

The exhibition ”Whatever the Object’’ consists of: three-channel video works and installation of glass panels.

The exhibition will be opened until 26 May 2013.

Lala Raščić was born in Sarajevo 1977, and finished the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. She had many solo and joint exhibitions in BiH and abroad.
